the day bryan shipped out to iraq.
he left this AM at 2:00 bound for an airforce base on the west coast. then kennedy airport east coast. then ireland. then kuwait.
then fallujah.
he has been selected to perform a big task there, and take care of many, many young lives of soldiers. he is ready for the task, and will be a shining example of a Marine - i know that.
we all had a chance to speak with him, and send him off with loads of love. sent him with wishes of safe returns.
cam didn't do so well with this. he has been very emotional, and very clingy the last few days. his greatest fear is not seeing uncle b again. sobbing big tears ... and holding sean and i, tight.
kendall seems to be wrapping her head around this, and almost has clarity that he'll be safe. 'he's coming home, and we're going to see him when he gets here, right?'
when you speak to your god tonight, or tomorrow - or really, *anytime* - keep uncle b and auntie s in your thoughts ... help him return safely and quickly. thanks.
