not exactly the right time to enjoy the sunrise. or anything really, if you ask me. I think the last time i saw that time at all was 6.5 years ago with a hungry wee k-gal letting me know she was. but then, i barely moved ... just helped her better position herself to have a snackie.
but 3:39 AM. that's the time the little black fluffer-nutter decided that he needed to pee. yes, he let me know, and we were very pleased with that.
but we would have been more pleased with 5:45AM as the first 'call'.
the second notification from him was at 5:19AM. ouch. the night before was such a solid night, we were shocked from that one, really we were. i got up and walked him on his lead that time, and he was pleased with that.
i am fading quickly here .. forcing to keep my eyes open. so, i am off to slunberland ... g;night!

Yeah, little puppy bladders are, well, little. Fortunately, Daphne seems to wait until dh wakes up, usually around 5 am. She will NOT sleep in her crate at night, though, but she does perfectly well next to my bed. I learned this morning, however, that if I fall back asleep before forgetting to tether her to her spot, she's a bit of a disaster waiting to happen. Especially if you are a magazine (for example). ;)
We have no streetlights here, and we do have foxes and coyotes, so there's about no chance at all that Daphne will ever get a walk in the dark. I release her in the side yard, which is finally enclosed. Works well for now. Phew!
