and of course - fishing!
then there was playing on the fantastic water trampoline ... and tubing ... and just plain old lakeside relaxing, and breathing it all in!

the location is beautiful, and the scenery is so peaceful. more than once my hubby said 'this feels like northern new england' and he was right ... hard to imagine it was tucked in a little spot just 15 mins away from our house.
we had a wonderful afternoon, and are looking forward to visiting again!

So it's about 7:30 pm your time, and the pooch should be there by now. I understand, and will wait (mostly) patiently for pictures.
Oh, and today's pics are pretty excellent, BTW; that water trampoline looks SOOO cool!
that water trampoline is so cool. That is just *the best* idea.
Don't you just love spending time near a lake? There's nothing quite lke lake atmosphere, there really isn't.
